We're Back?

Operating from coast to coast, Goose Got Me Loose has been on hiatus for some time now so I thought I'd try and bring it back around a lay something down. Both Stoney and I have been working on music videos. He has some real good work coming out soon and it needs to be seen. While he's been directing, I've been working on some fabrication elements in some Ghost Robot videos as well as a piece in Stoney's next work.

Check out my city in Kuroma's new video- In New York, Everything is Tropical brought to you by Green Label Sound Mountain Dew's new Singles Only label. It's going to be interesting watching Mountain Dew market their drinks to indie kids. Maybe they'll make some dew that tastes like cigarettes.

On other subjects I've been really enjoying Low lately. There's nothing better then some slowcore on the R Train in the morning on the way to work to make the day bearable.

Little Ms. Bo Peep

This is so fun. At first I was skeptical of Snoop's new direction. But now he's got an amazing video and remix... not bad Snoop. With Robyn in the mix, "we don got a Sexual Eruption." And if you don't know by now, Doggy Dog is a freak.

Holy Shit. The Arcade Fire are embracing the future and it's paying off, again. Interactive videos to me are not just gimmicks, they are great ways to engage your audience. You gotta check out Arcade Fire's new video... unlike the last one where you had control over the image, this time you control the music. Mute any of the layers of this track for a new experience each time you watch. Not to mention awesome visuals. I'm a fan of synchronized dancing, and creepy smoke hovering over the lake. Interactive videos have huge potential. I want to make a mystery video where you need to solve it by exploring the screen and finding clues by clicking around. Don't steal that. Anyways, big ups to the arcade fire for being ahead of the curve. In the future, music videos and video games will combine, I wonder what band will do it first?
